Tasty bites from Great Britain

Supreme Petfoods, the UK manufacturer of food for small furries, has launched a new range of high-quality, high-value monocomponent diets for rabbits and guinea pigs. “Tasty Bites” build on Supreme’s 20-year heritage by featuring the well known characters “Russel Rabbit” and “Gerty Guinea Pig”.

The company says that each diet combats selective feeding and is tailored to the nutritional needs of each species – “Russel’s Tasty Bites” are high in fibre (16 per cent) whilst “Gerty’s Tasty Bites” include added vitamin C. Made with a special process to help preserve taste, “Russel’s” and “Gerty’s Tasty Bites” are small, easily digestible pellets that are rich in natural ingredients with no added sugar, according to the company.

Compact packs should also allow retailers to make the most of shelf space, whilst offering customers the convenience of up to 40 days’ food in a 2 kg bag, with a larger 4kg bag also available. The eye-catching design of the packs is echoed in the exciting FSDU & POS materials, creating a desirable and affordable range of products that should offer high retailer margins as well as creating an impact, according to Supreme Petfoods.
